On The Joy of Fear

To shelter oneself from the storm means to stay dry, to stay comfortable, to stay fearful of the rain.

No matter how much sunshine, without water, a flower cannot grow. No matter how much safety, without facing fears and difficulties, we cannot grow.

Whether it’s the world raining on you, or plunging into God's cold tears on your own, you must face the pellets of hardship head-on, unbeknownst to you the size of raindrops and hail chunks.

Because only through rain can you appreciate the sunshine. Bask in the rain, for sunshine will dry you off.

Final Thoughts

To fear fear is to fear life.
